This work of art is created by sketching the design on leather. The leather is then mounted on my machine with 3 layers: a backing fabric, a cotton or wool batting and finally the leather on top.
The design, pattern or picture is then sewn free hand, using the sketch as a guideline..
When the stitching is done, the painting or dying of the leather begins. This process can take hours or days to complete.
The leather is then seen into the back of the jacket and sprayed with a protective covering.
This jacket says it is a size Small. I generally wear a size 14/16. I can put this jacket on but it is tight on the shoulders and I can not button it up.
